Introduction to the Jesus Course
Do you know about Jesus?
Jesus has had a greater impact on the world than any other figure in history, but there is still a great deal of confusion about who he is.
- Has the Christian church hijacked the figure of Jesus for their own ends?
- Is Jesus nothing more than a misunderstood teacher from the ancient world?
- What does Jesus have to do with the modern world?
- Why are Christians so keen to talk about the cross?
All of these questions and more are answered within the Jesus course.
This course will challenge your perceptions of Jesus and encourage you to think about answers to some very big questions.
Most of us wonder if there is more to life. Jesus believed and taught that there is more to life than our everyday existence - let Jesus open your eyes to his world.
Jesus of Nazareth, without money and arms, conquered more millions than Alexander the Great, Caesar, Mohammed, and Napoleon; without science and learning, he shed more light on things human and divine than all philosophers and scholars combined; without the eloquence of school, he spoke such words of life as were never spoken before or since, and produced effects which lie beyond the reach of orator or poet; without writing a single line, he set more pens in motion, and furnished themes for more sermons, orations, discussions, learned volumes, works of art, and songs of praise than the whole army of great men of ancient and modern times. - Philip Schaff
How can I get the most out of the course?

What is the structure of the course?
The course is divided into sections, each section will help you explore a different aspect of Jesus. The sections vary in length but a straight read through will take you less than 15 mins for each section. At the end of each section is a series of questions to help you think through the material you have read.
