Google trends reports Jesus is much bigger than the beatles

After reading a recent slow news day report about how the beatles are more popular than Jesus I thought I’d do my own research on the subject. The results were not very surprising with Jesus being much bigger than the beatles.

One interesting thing I did notice is that although Jesus is far more popular on searches this is not reflected in the way newspapers report things. Do the newspapers having something against Jesus?
